1st - Find a great credit union and stop in once a month.
2nd - Get an ATM. Get your cash in the bank digitally. Who processes it is incredibly important - you will get flagged and shut down if not registered correctly.
Pro Note: it’s your cash, don’t charge a surcharge.  Your clients WILL remember. If you have someone’s cousin saying otherwise, give us a call.
3rd - start researching POS systems.  An important decision that will impact much in the future; accounting, inventory, etc. No, you do NOT have to use your seed to sale software provider no matter how much they imply it.  It is not their area of expertise.  We worked with BioTrak when it was called BioTrackTHC and was a glorified excel sheet…They all offer basically the same things. For seed to sale, by far, the most important criteria is their customer service. Pro Note…call into a company’s service / technical department, see how fast they answer and how well they answer the questions.  That’s how you will choose.
4th - Prep for e-Commerce - Once the SAFER Act passes a good 50% of your purchases will be web based - (Delivery / Pre purchase pick up / in store kiosks)
